Savebase for Founders

Bookmark manager for founders

Build a market memory alongside your company.

Market research rarely arrives on schedule. A competitor launches while you are shipping, a customer explains a workaround in a thread, and an interview changes how you think about distribution. Savebase gives founders a library for these signals, organized by the assumptions they challenge rather than the day you happened to find them.

From save to useful reference

A workflow for founders

RSS subscriptions ↗

Keep a deliberate watchlist

Subscribe to relevant RSS or Atom feeds so new articles enter your library automatically. Assign a folder and tags to each subscription: competitor announcements, category research or founder lessons. A focused feed list supports a weekly review without requiring another round of opening the same company blogs.

Notes ↗

Separate market evidence from your bet

Write down what a saved source actually shows and which business assumption it affects. A competitor's launch is evidence of an announcement, not proof of customer adoption. Notes such as target segment, pricing date and next question keep your research usable when you revisit positioning.

ChatGPT plugin & MCP ↗

Find your research while preparing a brief

Use the ChatGPT plugin or MCP connection to locate saved references about a market question. Bring the relevant links into a positioning or fundraising discussion. Review the sources yourself, especially for dates and market definitions, before turning a retrieved passage into a company claim.

A small, annotated collection is a useful place to begin.

  1. 1

Create folders for competitors, customer problems and distribution experiments.

  2. 2

Subscribe to a small number of company or industry feeds and label incoming posts.

  3. 3

Set a reminder on a key source before the weekly review and retain the sources that change an actual decision.

Keep your library useful as it grows.

Bring existing references through browser import or Pro file imports. Keep a portable record through JSON export.

JSON export includes active saved records and their notes, tags and folder names. It contains media URLs, not media files, and currently omits transcripts and automation settings.

Duplicate cleanup scans currently loaded posts, keeps the oldest record and permanently removes newer duplicates without merging their notes. Review the scan before confirming removal. See duplicate cleanup guidance.

Choose the plan for your workflow

Free includes any 2 of the 11 supported social platforms, up to 100 social posts, 5 folders and unlimited ordinary web links. Notes, manual tags, per-post reminders, JSON export and direct browser-bookmark import through the extension are included.

Pro unlocks all 11 social platforms, unlimited social posts and folders, dashboard file imports, on-demand AI Bulk Tagging, read-only ChatGPT/MCP access, Notion and Google Sheets sync, RSS, rules, webhooks, media backup and video transcripts.

Media backup must be enabled and successfully fetch eligible Instagram, Facebook, Threads or TikTok media. Request video transcripts when needed; new saves are not automatically transcribed.

Common questions from founders

Can Savebase track competitor websites automatically?

RSS subscriptions can bring in new posts from feeds you choose. Savebase does not continuously monitor arbitrary website changes or preserve historical versions of pricing pages. Save the URL and record the date and relevant observation in a note.

How can founders use saved interviews?

Save the video reference, request a transcript where supported and add your own note about the lesson. Search transcribed content when preparing a distribution experiment or decision brief, then return to the recording to check the speaker's context.
