Savebase for Social media managers

Bookmark manager for social media managers

Separate the brand reference from the passing trend.

Managing several brands means the same feed contains competing contexts. One post is a format idea for a client, another is a trend to evaluate, and a third is a customer response worth revisiting. Savebase helps social media managers keep those references separate while still searching across a single saved-content library.

From save to useful reference

A workflow for social media managers

Folders & tags ↗

Give each brand a clear reference space

Create a folder per brand and use tags for format, channel and purpose. Add a note about the voice or audience fit rather than saving only because a post is popular. Cross-cutting tags let an educational carousel and a short video inform the same content pillar.

Browser extension ↗

Choose how native saves behave

Use the single-save note popup to record the intended brand. Run Grab Likes on X or Bluesky to turn returned liked posts into references, then add brand and format tags. Configure import notifications to suit your browsing routine; disabling them does not disable importing. Sync unbookmarks can follow supported unsaves observed by the browser extension, or stay off to retain references independently.

Email reminders ↗

Revisit trends while they are still relevant

Put a reminder on a trend you want to review before the next content-planning session. With reminder emails enabled, you have a reason to return to the source. Record the discovery date and the adaptation idea so an old trend does not silently enter a current brief.

A small, annotated collection is a useful place to begin.

Savebase quick start →
  1. 1

Create a brand folder and tag references by pillar, format and intended use.

  2. 2

  3. 3

Set a review reminder before planning and back up eligible social media references.

Keep your library useful as it grows.

Bring existing references through browser import or Pro file imports. Keep a portable record through JSON export.

JSON export includes active saved records and their notes, tags and folder names. It contains media URLs, not media files, and currently omits transcripts and automation settings.

Duplicate cleanup scans currently loaded posts, keeps the oldest record and permanently removes newer duplicates without merging their notes. Review the scan before confirming removal. See duplicate cleanup guidance.

Choose the plan for your workflow

Free includes any 2 of the 11 supported social platforms, up to 100 social posts, 5 folders and unlimited ordinary web links. Notes, manual tags, per-post reminders, JSON export and direct browser-bookmark import through the extension are included.

Pro unlocks all 11 social platforms, unlimited social posts and folders, dashboard file imports, on-demand AI Bulk Tagging, read-only ChatGPT/MCP access, Notion and Google Sheets sync, RSS, rules, webhooks, media backup and video transcripts.

Media backup must be enabled and successfully fetch eligible Instagram, Facebook, Threads or TikTok media. Request video transcripts when needed; new saves are not automatically transcribed.

Where Savebase fits in your work

Savebase handles reference collection. It does not schedule a brand's posts, manage approvals or provide social listening and performance analytics.

Common questions from social media managers

Can Savebase manage several clients' reference libraries?

You can organize your own library with separate folders and brand tags. This is personal reference organization, not a client portal or a shared permission system. Use your existing agency tools for approvals, access management and confidential client work.

What happens if I un-save a post on Instagram?

With Sync unbookmarks enabled, the extension can remove the corresponding Savebase record when it observes a supported unsave in your browser. It does not monitor unsaves made in the Instagram phone app. Turn the setting off to keep references independently of the original saved list.
