Savebase for Podcasters

Bookmark manager for podcasters

Keep guest research close to the question it inspires.

A good interview question often begins with an article, a guest's public post or a moment in an earlier interview. Savebase gives podcasters a library for those references, with notes about the follow-up you want to ask. Organize by guest or episode so preparation survives the gap between booking and recording.

From save to useful reference

A workflow for podcasters

Folders & tags ↗

Build an episode research packet

Use a folder for each episode and tags for guest background, contested claims and possible follow-ups. Keep the guest's own statements distinct from third-party commentary. That separation makes it easier to ask a specific question and show where it came from during preparation.

Video transcripts ↗

Revisit earlier video interviews by what was said

Save a public video interview and request a transcript where supported. Search for the passage behind a planned question and record its location in a note. Confirm the words in the recording before quoting them. Savebase's transcript feature applies to supported video saves, not every audio podcast feed.

Email reminders ↗

Bring the last read back before recording

Set a reminder on the article that deserves a full read before the interview and enable reminder emails. Add a note with the open question rather than merely marking it unread. Your preparation queue then includes an explicit next action tied to the episode.

Start with one real project.

A small, annotated collection is a useful place to begin.

Savebase quick start →
  1. 1

Create an episode folder and collect the guest's own public writing first.

  2. 2

Add questions to bookmark notes and transcribe useful supported video interviews.

  3. 3

Set a final-reading reminder before recording and verify any quotation in the source.

Keep your library useful as it grows.

Bring existing references through browser import or Pro file imports. Keep a portable record through JSON export.

JSON export includes active saved records and their notes, tags and folder names. It contains media URLs, not media files, and currently omits transcripts and automation settings.

Duplicate cleanup scans currently loaded posts, keeps the oldest record and permanently removes newer duplicates without merging their notes. Review the scan before confirming removal. See duplicate cleanup guidance.

Choose the plan for your workflow

Free includes any 2 of the 11 supported social platforms, up to 100 social posts, 5 folders and unlimited ordinary web links. Notes, manual tags, per-post reminders, JSON export and direct browser-bookmark import through the extension are included.

Pro unlocks all 11 social platforms, unlimited social posts and folders, dashboard file imports, on-demand AI Bulk Tagging, read-only ChatGPT/MCP access, Notion and Google Sheets sync, RSS, rules, webhooks, media backup and video transcripts.

Media backup must be enabled and successfully fetch eligible Instagram, Facebook, Threads or TikTok media. Request video transcripts when needed; new saves are not automatically transcribed.

Common questions from podcasters

Can Savebase transcribe an audio podcast RSS feed?

RSS subscriptions save articles from supported feeds, while the transcript feature works with supported saved videos. Do not assume every audio enclosure is imported or transcribed. Keep your audio transcription and production workflow in its dedicated tools.

How do I organize guest research for repeat interviews?

Keep a standing guest folder and tags for episode or topic. Add a note with the date and context of each claim, then collect the relevant sources for the next interview. This preserves continuity without treating an old statement as the guest's current position.
