A better fit for what you save

ARCHV alternatives for your saved library

ARCHV is an iOS social saver built around the share sheet and on-device storage, with optional iCloud features. Savebase is our first recommendation when you want the references accessible through a web and browser-extension workflow, with notes, reminders and integrations. If no-account Apple-device saving is the requirement, retain that in the shortlist.

Choose the operating model deliberately

On-device storage and an account-based web service are different choices. Consider where you work, what should sync and whether a private local routine is essential. Savebase's web and extension access is useful for browser research, but it is not the same model as ARCHV's local iOS approach.

Check what should remain after the source changes

Decide whether a source link and saved context are enough or whether the actual social media matters. Savebase can retain successfully backed-up eligible media on four platforms. Test representative content and do not assume a saved URL recreates every original post after deletion.

#1 · Our first pick for social references

Savebase

Start with Free

Savebase connects the references you save during browser work to the task that needs them. Keep social posts and web links in project folders, add a note after a single save and return through an email reminder. Eligible paid features add media backup, supported video transcripts, RSS subscriptions and Notion or Sheets sync. Rules and webhooks can route relevant saves into a process you configure.

Moving to Savebase

Start with selected original source links

Savebase file import option: Text / URL list

Dashboard imports of app exports, bookmark HTML files and text URL lists require Pro. Direct browser-bookmark import through the extension is available on Free and flattens the browser folder tree. Keep the original export and test a small batch: reused URLs can merge tags and folder memberships, and incoming non-empty notes can replace existing notes.

  1. 1

Check the export facilities available in your current ARCHV app and retain any backup separately.

  2. 2

Collect the accessible original URLs you want in the new library into a text file, one URL per line.

  3. 3

Choose Text / URL list in Savebase, review the preview and attach the project context you want to retain.

A direct ARCHV export format was not established as a supported Savebase importer. This path moves selected source links, not a complete app database, iCloud state or local assets.

JSON export includes active saved records and their notes, tags and folder names. It contains media URLs, not media files, and currently omits transcripts and automation settings.

Questions about ARCHV alternatives

Is Savebase a no-account, on-device app like ARCHV?

No. Savebase uses an account-based web library and browser-extension workflow. ARCHV's current official site emphasizes on-device iOS saving. Choose based on which access and storage model fits your requirements rather than treating them as identical alternatives.

Can I import my entire ARCHV library automatically?

Savebase has no native ARCHV importer. Check the app's current export capabilities, retain any backup and move accessible original URLs through a plain text URL list. Do not assume local app records or media files will be recreated from those links.
